We take great care to design our instruments as light and thin as possible. Including cables and switch UPS-U weighs 640 g and UPS-L weighs 230 g.

Both devices work in four modes: standby, idle, charging and emergency. The transition between modes is automatic, depending on various parameters.

• Standby mode – The switch is set to the “idle” position. The internal battery is disconnected from the electronics.

• Active mode: The switch is set to the "active" position, the internal battery is fully charged, and the input voltage level is above 11.5V. The electronics switch the input voltage directly to the output and monitors the voltage level of the internal battery.

• Charging mode: The switch is set to the "active" position, the input voltage level is above 11.5V. The electronics charge the internal battery, the input voltage is directly switched to the output.

• Emergency mode: the switch is set to the "active" position, the input voltage level is less than 11.5V. The electronics switch the output to an internal voltage amplifier, powered by the internal battery
