   Temperature Ambient compensation

   Compensated switches allow designers to specify smaller diameter wires where the switch and wiring are exposed to varying ambient temperatures. They are particularly suitable for applications where the ambient temperature exceeds 160°F (71°C) and for compensated switches without an ambient thermal loop. The TC Series can be applied where operating temperatures are as high as 250°F (121°C) without switch derating. This eliminates the need for cooling air and allows for substantially lower weight, less bulk and cost savings.
